Quantum Information Expertise
Independent scientific due diligence and advisory services for investors, boards and institutions evaluating quantum technologies.
Pablo Arrighi
I am a Senior Researcher (Research Director) at Inria, heading the QuaCS team on quantum computation structures. I hold a PhD from the University of Cambridge and have authored 70+ publications in quantum computing, quantum simulation, and their mathematical foundations.
Alongside my research, I now offer independent advisory services – applying two decades of scientific evaluation experience to help non-specialists assess quantum technology claims.
What I Offer
- Technical due diligence on quantum technologies for investment decisions
- Scientific advisory for boards, deep-tech ventures and innovation teams
- Assessment of technology roadmaps, scalability claims and theoretical soundness
- Confidential expert consultations (via expert networks or directly)
For larger engagements, I can assemble dedicated groups of experts drawing on my academic network.
Why Me
My research gives me the scientific depth. What makes me specifically suited to evaluation and due diligence is a long track record of institutional scientific assessment:
- National research evaluation – Member of CoNRS Section 6, the committee that selects, promotes and awards CNRS researchers in computer science (2019–2021)
- International grant referee – Evaluated research proposals for funding agencies in Switzerland (SNSF), Belgium (FNRS), Luxembourg (FNR), Chile (Fondecyt), Slovenia (ARIS), Italy (PRIN), Uruguay (ANII), and EU programmes (CHIST-ERA), among others
- Lab and strategy evaluation – HCERES expert, evaluating laboratories and university research strategies
- Private-sector R&D assessment – Crédit Impôt Recherche expert, evaluating whether company research qualifies for public support
- Industry collaboration – Supervised a CIFRE thesis with Quandela, a leading photonic quantum computing startup (2022–2025)
- Strategic advisory boards – Member of the Scientific and Training Advisory Board (STAB) of the Quanta Institute at Aix-Marseille Université (2026–)
